Our Vision
Providing Retirement Planning With A Team Approach
Over the years, we recognized retirement planners didn’t JUST need financial advising. It’s important to have, of course, but it doesn’t complete the entire puzzle of preparing for a crucial phase of life like retirement.
Let’s say you’ve managed your investments well and have a nest egg you’re satisfied with. Great! But, that’s just ONE piece:
- Do you know the TAX consequences when it’s time to draw from your accounts?
- What about your social security income options?
- Is your ESTATE plan set up, and in line with the moves you’ll make?
- Are you needing a Living Will? An Asset Protection Trust?
- Have you triggered IRMAA?
- Is your HEALTHCARE plan going to include Medicare? What about Long-Term Care?
Market Advisory Group brings the retirement planning team together for your benefit. We allow you to combine financial advising, taxes, estate planning, and healthcare in any way you need.
Our History
In 1985, Danny Goolsby (2nd from left) began serving as a financial advisor in the heart of Kansas. Since, he’s been joined by lifelong friend Larry Kloefkorn, son Matt Goolsby, and Kansas City’s Jonathan McCoy.
This team realized retirement planners needed more than just financial advice: they frequently needed some combination of tax expertise, estate planning, and healthcare in their plans.
Market Advisory group expanded and added Market Tax Services, Market Medicare Advisors, and Eidelman Law Firm. Together, these four entities provide an under-one-roof service we believe you will appreciate.
The Core Four of Retirement Planning
It’s this combination of retirement planning services that Market Advisory Group noticed planners were needing. Instead of having you go to separate businesses for each, you have the ability to pick and choose your own custom retirement planning services. By working together under one roof, we’re able to quickly and more efficiently communicate between departments – and with you.
Market Advisory Group clients are able to experience a wide range of benefits and discounts when working with more than one of the Core Four services.

Financial Advisors – Wichita
Matt Goolsby
Investment Advisor Representative
Matt decided to follow in his father, Danny’s, footsteps. Specializing in business development and logistics for Market Advisory Group, he is a founding partner for the company and performs in an advisory role for the offices in Wichita and the Kansas City metro area, and host of Retire Hour. Matt enjoys helping reduce risk and managing personal finances to solidify retirement goals. “It’s rewarding to help so many with concerns and goals.”
Larry Kloefkorn
Investment Advisor Representative
Larry is a firm believer that your retirement can not be a “set it and forget it” program. He enjoys building a relationship with each person to help create a plan that is tailored to the client’s needs. Monitoring a plan and making adjustments where needed are often an overlooked area to assure long-term financial peace in retirement. Many start saving early on, but then don’t know the step to guard, or greatly enhance, retirement income. This important step can even be achieved after retirement.
Danny Goolsby
Investment Advisor Representative
Danny’s 35+ years of experience and perspective have kept him sharp on market ebbs and flows. Hones advice, straight talk, and a trustworthy helping-hand are a driving force on how Danny handles professional advice. Helping others succeed with retirement, pre-retirement, and insurance planning brings him personal satisfaction. “I love to see a good plan come to fruition.”
Rick Everett
Investment Advisor Representative
After decades in Broadcast Radio, Rick followed in his father’s footsteps to become an Investment Advisor Representative and host Eye On Retirement. He enjoys working for Market Advisory Group because they, like he, puts the clients’ best interests first: “I’ve spent a lifetime informing and helping people, always in an effort to gain the most desirable outcome.” Rick is also a licensed Life & Health Insurance Agent in Kansas.

Financial Advisors – Kansas City
Jonathon McCoy
Investment Advisor Representative
Jonathon is the lead advisor for the Kansas City metro area and oversees the growing locations of that market. Transparency is the cornerstone of his advising style. “Many people have had long relationships with an advisor, yet they have no knowledge of cost of services and maintenance. Frequently, investments offered are not in the client’s best interest. Doing what is best for the client is always what is best for the business.”
Julie Newton
Investment Advisor Representative
Julie has a background in financial services and education, so she understands how vital transparency and integrity are in forming lasting client relationships. “People work hard to set money aside for their retirement. They deserve to work with an advisor who has the client’s best interest at heart – no matter what their net worth looks like.”
